Quilting Classes
We offer a range of quilting classes at your shop, community center, home, or other locations for quilters of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our classes cover everything from the basics of quilting to advanced techniques. Stan and Kathy together teach Barn Quilt painting classes.
Kathy is a Nationally Certified Instructor with Deb Tucker Studio 180 Design. She is an Advanced certified instructor with Laura Heine Fabric Collage. She is on the national registry as an instructor with Electric Quilt (EQ8).
Guild or Club Presentations and Workshops
Kathy is available to present at your guild or club. She provides workshops with Studio 180 Design, Laura Heine and Electric Quilt. Together, Stan and Kathy present Bar Quilt Workshops.

We carry a wide range of quilting notions and patterns that are essential for any quilting project. Our selection includes Studio 180 Design, Laura Heine, our favorite notions, and Barn Quilt supplies.
Custom Longarm Quilting Services
Kathy offers quilting services for those who want a unique and personalized quilt .Kathy will work with you to create a design that meets your specific needs and preferences. She does Edge to Edge and Custom Quilting. She is certified with APQS and Fons and Porter.
Quilts Across America Benefit
Joins Us as We Make quilts for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
Join Studio 180 Design certified instructor Kathy Tucker as we make quilts for children in need for Sleep In Heavenly Peace, a National Bed Making Organization. This wonderful organization features 4 chapters in the Houston area. Students will be learning how to create the free pattern called Hocus Pocus, as well as, learn how to use the Studio 180 Tucker Trimmer III and Magic Wand. You can rotate this block to design 5 different layouts. Kathy will have fabric block kits for you to make blcosk for QAA. At only $10 for this wonderful class, you’ll be able to learn, create, and quilt all for a great cause! You will get a $10 shop credit in return.
Quilt Across America is a program that relies on the generosity of quilters everywhere to provide a quilt with each bed that is delivered. Quilters can partner together or sew on their own to make and donate quilts throughout the year. Quilt Across America was initiated by Studio 180 Design and Tucker University in July 2023. Help make this the largest quilting project in America and complete the process of getting kids, “Off the floor, Into a Bed, and Under a Quilt."
